I miss New Zealand!
More importantly, this week TVNZ aired a sweet OneNews update, during its breakfast show, in which reporter Lisa Davies covered two pet pigs who were so traumatized by the earthquake that they had to be given new digs. The story was picked up by CNN!
It's not an earthshaking story, but anytime traditional farm animals are covered as anything other than dinner it is a definite plus. So please check it out and thank TVNZ for the story. The network makes clear how much feedback matters, and positive feedback for animal friendly coverage will encourage more of it.
