I send big thanks to Elizabeth Usher, who did some research and found that my interview has been rescheduled to air Wednesday. So sorry for any inconvenience. The amended alert is below:

Hello Aussie animal friends,

I had such a glorious time in Australia and want to thank so many of you for your warm welcome and for your terrific activism. I will be writing something about my trip for the wonderful Vegan Voice, and look forward to sharing fun stories and photos. It had been almost fifteen years since I had back to the country where I was raised -- I do not intend to leave it that long again!

I wanted to let you know that I taped a little interview with Triple J's "The Doctor," Lindsay McDougall, last Friday, which is scheduled to air during his show on Wednesday 20 October. "Drive with the Doctor" is on from 3-5:30pm. We chat mostly about how being vegan can actually be fantastically fun, and I think I threw in a nice little point or two about the dairy industry, plus I got to chat about my wonderful trip to Edgar's Mission.

I hope you'll check it out, either live on the radio, 105.7 in Sydney, and 107.5 in Melbourne (go to http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/about/faqs.htm to find frequencies for other areas) Or on line at http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/.
If you miss it, you can also grab the podcast later.

If I still lived in Oz I reckon I would be listening to The Doctor every day. You are so lucky to have an outspoken vegan voice on your mainstream (or somewhat so) airwaves!

Lindsay will no doubt get some flak for the unapologetic vegan message, so some positive feedback would be much appreciated. If you like what you hear, would you post a comment on his board? Positive feedback for vegan guests will make it easier for him to have more of them.
His message board is at http://tinyurl.com/26erbl8 You can sign in as a guest -- it asks for none of your information -- using whatever name you like.

If you could help spread the word by forwarding this onto some Aussie e-lists this afternoon, that would be awesome.

Yours and the animals',
Karen Dawn
