Hi Kiwis and Aussies,
I am so pleased to be visiting New Zealand and Australia at the beginning of October. I will be speaking at the RSPCA conference in Christchurch on Monday October 4. I would love to see some DawnWatch friends there!
After that I will be checking out New Zealand, as I have never been before. People tell me I must get to Kaikoura and to Queenstown, and I should visit Milford Sound. I will be in Christchurch October 3-5 and then elsewhere on the South Island the nights of the 6th and 7th. Then I will probably fly to Auckland latish on Friday the 8th as I will see friends there on the 9th and am flying out of Auckland to Sydney on the evening of Saturday October 9th.
I will be in Sydney from that Saturday night, the 9th, till the night of Thursday the 14th.
I would absolutely love to catch up with some fellow animal advocates so please email if you'd like to catch up or perhaps even arrange a local get together somewhere.
And I would love travel tips -- your favorite vegan restaurants or other lovely restaurants with good vegan choices, and good places to stay. In Sydney I would love to stay in my old neighborhood, Paddington, where I lived in the last 80s, so if anybody knows of any great little inns there please tell me.
I am so looking forward to this trip and to meeting some Aussie and Kiwi activists.
