The Fox News host Bill O'Reilly has a history of making remarks against bullfighting. In his Pinhead or Patriot segment last night, August 20, he covered a bullfighting incident from earlier this week -- a bull jumped into a crowd of spectators in Spain, injuring 40 people. Whereas traditionally newscasters might say that nobody was killed and brush off the death of the animal, O'Reilly called the bull's subsequent death an execution. And he called bullfighting "brutal" and a "blood sport" and he said that Spain should "knock it off."

Please send O'Reilly a big thank you for his continued stance against bullfighting. Positive feedback for animal friendly coverage encourages more of it. O'Reilly influences 2-3 million nightly viewers so his voice against animal cruelty is one that can mean much to the animals.
