The new video of Ringling Brothers handlers beating elephants, shot this year and covered in Wednesday's DawnWatch alert (see http://tinyurl.com/nh7hpc) is getting loads of media -- so much that I can't possibly cover all of it. Hallelujah! I hope if you have seen it covered in your local media you have sent an appreciative note or letter to the editor. I am going to bring attention to the national coverage, on CNN. Jack Cafferty, who has made numerous animal friendly comments in the past, today on his blog discusses the video and the allegations against Ringling Brothers. He asks, "Should use of wild animals in circuses be outlawed?"
